As you may have picked up from some of my blogs, I moved here from the UK a few years ago. I soon started my career in Real Estate (originally as a new skill to take back) but we ended up falling in love with the place and we bought our first home here in The Brownstones, Highlands Ranch. It wasn't on paper what you would think to be the most conventional house for a young family of four, but we loved the simplicity and low maintenance living it provided. It provided a great amount of open space living with lots of storage. There was plenty of green spaces for the children plus a very short walk to Civic Green Park. And spaces for dogs to meet and make friends.
This particular development is located near The Town Center, Highlands Ranch. Being European, we loved the fact we could walk to all the amenities - library, Starbucks, Safeway .. plus the Lansdowne Pub, Blinking Light and Indulge. I have seen this area grow with the opening of Target, and soon a new Yoga business.
Since our time here, I have seen a move towards this (what I would called) European lifestyle with people opting to live more conviently to amenities. There is now Highlands Ranch newest development of The ClockTower which is also situated near the Town Center.
